Heya! I was wondering if anyone here could tell me if this place allows real money transactions when it comes to buying/selling art? Or do you have to buy/sell using only forum currency?

No, selling art for real currency is not allowed here. But if you have an art shop thread with in game currency here, and art on another place where you sell art for RL currency, for example on DeviantArt, you may add alink to that place.

I always find it odd that places don't allow it lol. A lot of the time they say things like 'we don't want that liability' but a simple paragraph in their TOS would make them shirk all liability xD

Here it's not so much about any liability, but rather that this is a site that has its own virtual currency and where one of the main points is to earn and spend this currency and if you just use it as a platform to exchange your art for real money, you are not really taking part in this. You are not "playing" this site, but rather just using it as an advertisement platform for your own bussiness, you know what I mean?
I know of users here who have acquired hundret thousands of food for the sole purpose of spending it on art. But unfortunately we do not really have many artists selling their art here, which is a pity.
