I tried on the puppet strings hat in lunatic fringe with the doughnight 2016 hair on and when the hat is on all the hair disappears, I don't know if this is a general thing with all hats that disappear the back half of the hair with the doughnight hair since I don't own any and there aren't any I can find to try on besides that hat to see whats going on but I thought you should be aware sorry I can't be more specific

After reading this, I went to the Lunatic Fringe to try it out myself (since I'm wearing the Doughnight '16 Hair currently), the glitch you described occured for me, too. I tried on my Huge Hat in my wardrobe, but it shows some front hair as expected.
Then I went to the DAC and tried a few other hats, but there was no baldness. (Except the Halloween '13 Jester Hat, when I removed it, the Doughnight Hair was gone, too somehow.) But I also tried the Puppet Strings Hat in the DAC, and there was no such glitch, so maybe it's just the shop's bug in the preview.

Update: I found a porthos hat and another puppet strings hat in the market and both of those make my avi bald in the previews

Hallowe'en '13 Jester Hat is designed to take hair off as it would result in hair poking out behind it otherwise.

I tried the hair with Porthos hat in my wardrobe and it only took the back layer off, as it's supposed to.

I have a material trading thread that lists all the mats that I own. I can help you with the quantity, but please don't make me go through it myself to figure out which of the mats you need are in my possession.

Isn't this an old glitch that used to happen regularly when previewing that particular hat in the shop?

No, I meant that after I removed the Jester Hat, the DAC removed the Doughnight '16 Hair too. I know the hat is supposed to hide all the hair :qhehe:

Memoriam, again, I believe it's supposed to do that. I know that the hoods such as Assassin's hood keeps the hair underneath but I don't think newer versions of these items do that anymore because having the hood hide the hair but not remove it ended up causing glitches. The newer hood-like items such as the Jester's hat and Lady Bonheur's Veil replaces hair like any other hairs.

Butcherbaby, I thought so at first but this didn't happen with my Doughnight '14 Hair so I think it's been fixed for the most part save for some hairs. It also didn't happen with my current Purple Mage Hair. But I believe it is that glitch, yes, because Porthos Hat makes the Doughnight '16 hair bald in the previews but it does not in the wardrobe itself, like the old glitch.

The Puppet hat is removing my Meliae hair as well. Like you can see the bald, top curve of my head and a space between that and the hat.
